Sustainability Attitudes, Intentions, and Behaviors Over Time

In a recent study, CSMRE faculty affiliate, Brian McCullough, partnered with Galen Trail to examine people’s attitudes, intentions, and behaviors related to sustainability, and they did so over time. The authors collected data from caregivers of athletes with intellectual disabilities who were attending a major sporting event. Their findings provide practitioners with ways to evaluate their sustainability campaigns and develop new ones. Further, the study offers insights as to how sport managers can promote new sponsorships and identify corporate partners. Finally, the research highlights the role of constraints and how they can detract from intentions and behaviors.
